Rules of Discipline

1.  All students should reach the school before the bell is rung for the Morning School Assembly.
2.  The school uniform is to be worn on all class days and at al school functions. One who is slovenly dressed may be debarred from attending the classess or even sent back home.
3.  Running, Playing or Shouting inside the school building is strictly forbidden.
4.  All students must be regular and punctual to the school and at school activities. No one is allowed to leave the school premises without the permission of the Head.
5.  No leave for absence shall be granted except on prior written application from parent/guardian. Leave may not be presumed except in case of unforeseen circumstances.
6.  Every pupil is required to put in attendance for not less than 80% of the total number of working days in the school year. No pupil will be allowed to sit for the promotional examination unless he/she puts in the minimum number of attendances.
7.  A student not appearing in any Test/Examination due to any reason including illness shall be marked absent and will earn disability on that count. He/She may, however, be treated on the compassionate grounds, if his/her absence is on medical grounds at the sole discretion of the School Management.
8.  No leave for few periods will be granted. In case of emergency, the parent/guardian may personally take the child with him/her after taking permission from the Principal.
9.  Late coming will be treated as leave on that day.
10.  Special fine will be charged for the absence on activity day (Saturday).
11.  Students are advised to keep their class room/school building/campus as neat as possible and throw leftovers into the dustbins only.
12.  The school is not responsible for goods lost. No books (other than text books or library books), magazines, floppies, cassettes, CDs, Cell phones or money should be brought to the school without the Principal's permission.
13.  Parents and guardians are not allowed to visit wards or teachers in the class rooms, without the permission of the Principal.
14.   No student shall indulge in any of the following practices:
    (a)  spitting in or near the school building
    (b)  disfiguring or otherwise damaging any school property
    (c)  smoking
    (d)  any form of gambling
    (e)  use of drugs or intoxicants except on prescription by a registered medical practitioner
    (f)  rowdism and rude behaviour
    (g)  use of violence in any form
    (h)  casteism, communalism or practice of untouchability
    (i)  bursting of crackers and playing with colours and any other such unwanted activity.
